Circling back a bit over a year later: day to day usage has shaped icons being shuffled. 2nd page Photo apps folder, 3rd page everything else in 3 folders split by kind: Hear, Read, Utilities. Guess I've gone even sparer and leaner on this mighty device, works for me!

Obviously, lean towards the spare and lean. Dug finding out about creating multiple home screen pages. love browsing other's!
My gear is 1 week old today after plugging away at filling a piggy bank for over a year.

Move all your apps to the 2nd, 3rd page and etc. I didn't know that could be done until recently. I had tried a few years ago with my iP 4, but It didn't work. Just make 'em wiggle and move them all.
