Search "WP Liberator" in the App Store. It allows you to take pictures of the spaces where the icons *would* sit, and put them in place of actual app icons, blending in seamlessly with the background.

It works even better now that iOS 7 has no app icon shadows. Also, you'll need to the "Reduce Motion" setting on, killing the parallax effect.
