Lol! Yeah, I did not want to wait over a week to get the phone as well. This is my first waiting in line experience. I'm still the only one here at the Sprint store. I probably could've slept a little longer. Oh well

I feel your pain. Waited all night to get my son an iPad mini outside best buy. I was the only one there until right before the store opened. Waste of time but in the end it wasn't too bad

Here at the Derby Street store in Hingham, MA the line isn't too bad. But the Boston area has plenty of Apple stores so I'm not surprised. I'm sure the line at the Boylston Street store is much worse.

Ouch, but at least you got the iPad mini for your son. I'm sure he was happy and that probably made the wait worth it

Looks like the line has grown to a little over 40 here at the QB mall in Princeton NJ. some mall security dudes just stopped by and radioed something.. thought maybe they'd let us in the mall early but no dice so far. still no sign of anyone from Apple.

Two years ago when I got my 4S and was sitting bored in line I ended up doing some art based in a red shoe on the foot sitting next to me. Seemed only right that I maintained the tradition. So, out of early morning in line boredom, I give you this years foot in line.
