iPhone 5S Pricing

Pricing for the iPhone 5s, all on 2-year contract:

  • 16GB - $199
  • 32GB - $299
  • 64GB - $399

Which one makes the most sense for you???

Re: iPhone 5S Pricing

looking at the 32 gig hopefully. might go for the 16 gig to save a little money but i have 10 gigs of music plus apps and i like to take loads of pix and vids so i might get another 32 gig.

Another 32 for me. Haven't even filled up half of my current iPhone 5 @ 32.

Re: iPhone 5S Pricing

Going to the 64GB version. Have a new baby so taking a ton of video and pictures. Have a 16GB iPhone 4S current and it's almost completely full and I've had to cut a lot of apps/games and nearly all my music out cause of that. So a 64GB version will be really nice as I'll be able to fill it up with all my music, all the games and apps I want, plus the pictures and videos without having to worry to much about space.

Also switching to T-Mobile cause of their Jump program so that the wife and I can upgrade to new iPhones next year instead of having to wait every 2 years. Thankfully the T-Mobile service where I'm at is just as good as the AT&T service.

I always buy 32GB devices - iPhones, iPads, iPods... no difference this time around... 32GB "space gray" iPhone 5s for AT&T...

I always go biggest possible. I was dying for a 128gb... So I'm getting the 64gb Can't decide on gold or black.

Re: iPhone 5S Pricing

I am going 64 this time. I have almost filled my 32 and that's a little uncomfortable for me. I back up to Dropbox and iCloud and my computer but I don't want to have to delete.

Re: iPhone 5S Pricing

Having the 16 4s makes me weary. I'm always checking available space. With the new 64 bit it will demand apps to take up more space to take advantage of it. So to be on the safe side I think I'll get a 32

Re: iPhone 5S Pricing

I never put music or movies on my phone and don't take a ton of pictures, so it's almost foolish for me to buy anything besides the 16GB version.

Re: iPhone 5S Pricing

I have only used 6GB out of my 64GB iPhone 5, therefore my next iPhone is going to be 32GB.

Re: iPhone 5S Pricing

I'll be getting the 64 GB 5S since I'm running out of space on my 32 GB 4S. I have about 15.8 GB of music and about 22 GB of apps and I rather not have to carry my iPod touch all the time just so I can listen to music.

Re: iPhone 5S Pricing

How is that possible since the OS itself takes up at least that amount?

Correct, but people who have the 64GB iPhone don't refer to it as the 57GB model just because the OS is using up part of the memory. As I said above, I have only used about 6GB in the one year that I've had my iPhone 5 so it wouldn't make sense for me to get another 64GB iPhone.

Re: iPhone 5S Pricing

Was toying with the idea of a 32gb but looking at what I've used on my ipad in 6 months (3gb) it might be a waste. Granted ill have more photos on the phone and a bit of music, but I managed alright with my 16gb 4s when I had it.

Guess i'll see what the uk contract pricing is like and go from there, if its not much more I might aswell

I think I may need to do a canned response on this one since I have answered it so many times and so many different threads....LOL :) The only difference with me is the carrier will be VZW.

Re: iPhone 5S Pricing

I have only used 6GB out of my 64GB iPhone 5, therefore my next iPhone is going to be 32GB.
Now I have pretty much an opposite approach in that I have a 16GB 4S now and seeing and knowing what I will be adding to the new 5S I see myself possibly needing more space so I am not going to take any chances and I am going to jump on the 32GB gray this go around.
Another reason is that I have Pre-Sold my 4S for double what I paid for it new. My neighbor is happy to pay it knowing he gets it when I get my new one and I have a deposit so that the profit will pay for the extra GB moving up and Applecare+ which I always get. Better to be safe than sorry. :)
