    it displays my apple id but when i enter my password it doesn't take it. I never use iCloud so why is it appearing?

    something is going on in the background... if entering the correct password doesn't make it go away and stay away - a GeniusBar visit might be in order.

    Check your settings to see if it got turned on somehow. If it did, turn it off & that pop up shouldn't appear again.
