"Flop" may be much too strong of a word, but it seems safe to say that the iPhone 5c didn't catch on quite as well as Apple intended. But even though it may not have taken the world by storm, a new report from Kantar Worldpanel shows that the colorful device pulled in more numbers than Samsung's competing Galaxy S5 in the iPhone stronghold of the United Kingdom.

Considering my first iPhone was the 5c, I'm pretty darn sure it wasn't a complete flop. If I was compelled, there were others like me who were too. =)

The 5c was never a flop.

If anyone states otherwise, then by their logic, premium android handsets are a flop as well. Since the iPhone 5c has outsold each of them and let's not forget about the iPhone 5s. It has done the same but to cumulative high end android devices.

Apple's iPhone 5c 'failure flop' outsold Blackberry, Windows Phone and every Android flagship in Q4 of 2013. With record iPhone sales in Apple's June quarter, the largest growth actually came from the 5c sales. Hard to believe, but true. I know my wife likes hers.
