Same here, John.... Though it's nice that Apple is going to offer a cheaper model for those who have been wanting an iPhone but don't want to pay the higher price for one.

I just don't see Apple going back to plastic for their high end devices. They pride themselves on glass and metal. This would be a huge step backwards.

I don't see it happening either unless the rumors are true about the colored ones being the cheaper iPhone model. This would be one way of Apple setting it apart from the higher end iPhone. But in any case. None of us really knows anything except for Apple and we'll find out after they announce the new iPhones in the Fall.

I love colours but I like the classic style of the white iPhone. It's iconic. I would stay with white.

That's always been the case, but the leaks are stacking up to the point where I'd be surprised if the "5C" isn't announced.

What are you saying that you don’t think will happen? The device that is being called the 5C? Rest assured, it’s coming... this year... and it’s NOT the iPhone "6" as the OP suggests... it’s the lower cost device, just as it’s rumored to be.

I agree. It won't make good business sense for Apple to announce the 5S and not the 5C along side it....

I don't think they'd abandon the current 5 design entirely. I think there's credence to a 5C-type model to complement the 5S. Then again, the leaks have been mostly about the plastic phone, not the. next-gen aluminum housing.
