Giving a name to group messages, any work around to this?

Giving a name to group messages

I have an iPhone 5. I want to give a name to a group of people I text to often. Such as a distribution list for an email. I have followed the instructions to give the name, however I am unable to do this. I see in several posts that if some of the users are not iMessage users that I will not be able to name the group. Is there a work around to this?

Welcome to iMore! If one person in the conversation isn't using iMessage (green word bubbles, not blue) then you won't be able to assign a group name to the conversation.
