I took my daughter to the Apple Store last night and they ran a diagnostic and her battery is at .006. They said they have so many issues with the iPhone 5 & 5c. So they said they can replace it for $80.

I don't know why your daughter's iPhone 5 battery is "so bad". When I had an iPhone 5, battery life was excellent for my usage. Anyway, either exchange it or update to a newer iPhone model, perhaps the iPhone SE.

I ran the app Battery Life on my 5c and it said average 89%. My son is going to replace my bad battery, but until then I use a battery charging case on my phone.

89% health on a 5c is great! My 6s Plus is at 92% health. I'm a very heavy user. I do a lot of photo editing that takes a lot of battery. And I'm on it non stop. My wife's 5c is at 92% health. LOL she's had hers over 2 years.
