Hello! So a couple of weeks ago I received a brand new iPhone 5 64gb as a gift and switching from a Nexus device I love it. I was using it absolutely fine up until today, when I noticed that my battery indicator is stuck at 100% and won't move whatsoever. The weird thing is that the battery itself is indeed draining just normally and the phone will eventually shut off, whilst still displaying 100% charge. I tried resetting it with Home + Power buttons numerous times with no result. I also drained the entire battery (at least I think so, the phone turned off after some heavy usage) and tried to charge it, but what happens is it just displays the red battery icon for a split second and then turns on automatically and the indicator is still stood at 100%. I even factory reset it and the issue persists. This "bug" is super annoying as I basically have to guess when my phone is going to die and I would be very grateful if someone could help me with a solution

I would take it into Apple and have them look into the issue for you.

I forgot to login, wow I live in a country where we don't have official apple stores so this is not an option for me, unfortunately.

Worth calling them up and they can run remote diagnostics as well.
