How can I delete a calendar entry for 1/29/2016?

I am unable to edit or delete an entry on 1/29/2016. I have an iPhone 5 with iOS 9.2.1.

Welcome to iMore! Normally you would open Calendar, tap on the calendar entry to open it, then tap on Delete Event. Did someone else create the event and share it with you? Is it a work calendar? Is it an iCloud calendar or is it synced through another service like Google?

Like Devil says, tap "edit" in the top right corner. Scroll down to delete. If it's not there, then someone else set it up and shared it with you. They would most likely have to delete it on their end. If you set it up, you should be able to delete it.
