Hello, I have an iphone 5 with iOS 8.3, and I was wandering if this is some sort of bug or if I'm doing something wrong: I have disabled for every app the feature that, when the phone is in standby, lights up the screen every time a notification arrives, because I find it annoying.
Anyway, I'd like that when i hear a notification sound (and the screen doesn't light up), if I press the Home button and DON'T insert my lock code I could see the notification in the notification center (doing a slide down). This doesn't happen, I can't see any notification there, and only after inserting the lock code they appear.
This also happens to a friend of mine with iPhone 5 and iOS 8.3, whereas it doesn't happen to another friend of mine who has iPhone 5S and iOs 8.3.

Is this some sort of bug?

Difference in Settings for notifications... Compare yours to that of the device that's working as you desire and adjust yours to match.

We have exactly the same settings, that's why I'm thinking of an iPhone5 bug...
