Why don't my lock and home buttons don work after replacing the screen (iPhone 5)?

Lock and home buttons don't work after replacing screen. iPhone 5

Replaced my iPhone 5 screen and followed the tutorial exactly. Went to turn it on and wouldn't. Plugged in and turned on screen works perfect but lock and home buttons do not work, Volume buttons do though... Does anyone know what may have went wrong in the process?

Something didn't get reassembled properly...you may need to find an experienced service/repair tech to fix it for you.

Either do as said above, or use the iFixit directions. Either something was not done right, or something is broke.
