data explosion

over the last week or so the data usage on my iPhone 5 has exploded. like insanely so. I've already used almost 3 GB today according to the phone. any idea whats up with this? I've tried shutting off location info to only the apps that need it\. my iMessage stopped working about the same time if thats worth anything.

Please help!!!!
