Is there a world news app that would allow me to post news?

I am looking for a world news app that would look like this forum there I can participate by posting news myself as well.
I mean world news like latest world news and breaking news ok.
I know twitter do very well the same thing but anyone knows any app except twitter ?

Reddit covers all news. Other than that, Twitter is your best bet, in my opinion...
