I actually noticed this when I did the update when 7.1.2 was released, but it wasn't really bothering me that much because I was on WiFi most of the time anyway. But the other day, I was in a place with no WiFi...

Since the update, my iPhone 5 has been not connecting to LTE in places where it has always worked. Where I previously got 3~4 dots of LTE, I was now getting 3~4 dots of 3G. LTE was still enabled on the phone.

Per Verizon, did a soft reset (hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button in until it shuts off and the Apple logo appears. That worked, for that location. They failed to mention that I'll have to do this everywhere this happens.

The soft reset worked, and I didn't lose my saved wifi networks.
