Anyone now how it works, since they no longer make iPhone 5? I still have 18 months of coverage.
Was stupid to keep the 4S and discontinue the 5.

If something goes wrong and you need a replacement you will still get another iPhone 5. There will be plenty left.

Put this in context: Apple only just stopped supporting the original 2007 2G iPhone in June. And still does in California.

AppleCare+ lasts for 24 months, after which you either pay for repairs/replacement or treat accidents as a nudge from Fate that it's time to upgrade to a newer model.
