Yes,Verizon's iPhone 5 is sold unlocked. However, here in the US it will only work on AT&T and T-Mobile's 3/4G network for voice and data. Verizon's iPhone 5 will not work on AT&T's LTE data network... It will work on a number of international LTE networks.
