    Hi all

I recently took my iPhone 5 to an apple shop in the uk with a faulty lock button and within ten minutes I was walking out with a brand new one which I am more than happy with.

My question is more carrier related which is, my carrier is EE was orange I took the contract out last September on a two year contract, my upgrade is due next year.

Does this still stand even though I've just had a brand new iPhone given to me a couple of weeks ago?

The warranty replacement iPhones that Apple gives you having nothing to do with your upgrade date or change that date in anyway. You will still be able to upgrade on the day you are due for one.
