Just got my new iPhone at the Apple Store-- had a great experience there too. Took a bit of leg work to get it activated correctly, but it's up and running! I'm looking forward to playing with my new toy!

Any recommendations for a screen protector?

I don't use screen protectors at all. But, I know that people rave about
    the Zagg Invisible shield.

+1 for zagg. They are awesome with their lifetime warranty. I replace every couple months if it doesn't look perfect.

+1 for Zagg or any screen protector for that matter because if you ever want to sell your phone the screen will look like new. I didn't like the matt finish ones though because to me they made everything look a bit fuzzy. Congrats on the new phone you will love it !

Congrats, I don't use a screen protector either other than those that are part of a case. Those glass ones are interesting though, like the glas-t (I think that is what it is called. Check out the YouTube video by larry grenberg

Get the ID shield from amazon. It's very smooth and clear no one can even tell I have a screen protector on. I bought a full phone coverage to protect the back from scratches too as I like to rock my iPhone caseless.

Enjoying my phone right now. Battery has been holding up even though I'm playing a lot with it.

Contemplating the screen protector, but maybe I'll see how it does with out?

    Enjoy your new phone.

I now only use the tempered glass screen shields. They feel just like the glass on the phone, because they are glass

You will pay more for them but it is a premium that I feel is well worth it.

There was a screen protector on my 5 when I got it. I never used to use one. I have no idea what kind it is, but I love it. It's matte. Its gives just enough friction to the screen. No glare either. I even took it off once and washed it, and got it back on with no bubbles. would love to know what kind it is.
