    Hey everyone,

Real quick question, is there an adaptor that I can use to put the smaller sim card that goes in the iPhone 5 into my GS 3?

I am sorry if this has been covered before, I didn't have any luck finding an answer. Looks like I am going to drop some money and get the iPhone 5 on Saturday, I'm really curious as to how we are going to get along considering that my current phone is a GS III on Verizon, and I write for an Android website. I can still keep up with Android with my Nexus 7, but I already have an 2010 iMac, a 3rd gen iPad, so it just makes sense to get an iPhone 5. However, I still need to keep the S3 close, because we get review requests, and I have to test the latest and greatest from Fibit when the Flex ships in the spring. So I see myself switching phones a couple of times a month, and I'd really like to avoid going to Verizon every time that I need to switch phones.

Thanks for the responses, and I am really excited to see how the iPhone has come along. The only one I've ever used is the iPhone 4.

Be careful when pulling the SIM card with the adapter out of the gs3. The inside edges of the adapter can get caught with the contacts and can bend or break them.

With Verizon, you also have to take the phone's CDMA MEID and associate it with the desired phone number on your account... which can be done online via MyVerizon, on another phone via Verizon customer service, or - in a Verizon store.

Not necessarily true. That was the case with 3G devices. I use my Verizon SIM in many devices with an adapter. With 4G phones I have never had to do an MEID update with CS or on the web. Everything works perfectly fine.

As they said above, be careful pulling it out. I used an adapter to switch the nano sim card back and forth to a Galaxy Note 2 and it got stuck along the raised edge. You're better off getting a micro sim from Verizon and having them not kill either the micro sim or nano sim. You can switch back and forth online very easily with Verizon just by providing the IMEI number and SIM number. It's much better than swapping the fragile sim card back and forth. Turn both devices off, log into my Verizion, make the switch, then turn on the one you're switching to. It takes less than a minute each time.

I didn`t know that you could use a Sim again. Thanks.

It has been stated above, but seriously be careful using the adapter. If you catch a pin you are done, there are very few places that repair sim sockets and it is hard to find the parts to do it yourself. It is easier than you think to damage them.

Just make sure the Verizon store doesn't kill the SIM on the device you're switching from. It works great just to switch online.

So, Verizon will let you keep both a micro simo and a nano sim active for the same number? I plan to switch back and forth between my iPhone 5 once I receive it, and my Razr Maxx HD, and thought the only way would be with an adapter. Having both active would be fantastic! I don't mind hoping on the website to swap the ESNs on my account, but it is a pain to run to the store, or call every time I switch and need a new sim.
