Phoenix metro area... west side suburbs (Glendale and Peoria). The -84 is the signale strength. Those speeds were LTE speeds, but at the time I took the screen shot, I was on my home wifi network.

What is that 84 on your screen if you dont mind ? Is it signal reception percentage ? I have never seen it like that

for the techie, that's -84 dBm, signal strength. the bigger the number (i.e -100), the weaker the signal strength. The smaller the number (i.e -70), the stronger the signal. Hope that answer your question.

Here's the link to the instructions... I believe that it only works on GSM phones (AT&T, T-Mo, etc).

Sure it did. 50 to 75 is excellent signal strength. But it is a bad system

They should have used a 0 to 100 scale with 100 showing the perfect signal while 0 indicating no signals at all

lmao...you do realize these numbers don't represent a "scale" correct?

It is vastly misunderstood. It's not a bad system if one knows the math behind it.
