#1... hmm... contacts works fine landscape on a 4s... I can't imagine why it wouldn't on a 5...
#2... First time I've heard such a complaint.

Perhaps you're better off with android...

Contacts works perfectly in landscape on the 5. At least on mine anyhow. I don't at all understand what was being asked in #2 however so I can't offer any help there, sorry.

1 Entering contacts, no landscape mode for contacts. Little dinky letters and symbols make data a real problem, no fix so far for iphone 5 and iphone 4 I see does this OK.
The native contacts app does appear upright in landscape mode. As for the little dinky letters & symbols making data a real problem, I don't know what you're talking about. Sorry.

2 If one does not pick up the call in time iphone 5 with all the updates blocks the caller not on your list, I am a physician and this has forced me back to my Android phone.
I don't have an iPhone 5, but my 4S does have iOS 6.0.1 on it and iOS, in my experience, does NOT natively block callers who are not listed in the native contacts list whether you answer a call or let it go to voicemail. As for you being a physician, that is irrelevant in this regard. In my opinion, the iPhone 5 is not for you or to many other people and that's okay. If your Android device suits your needs better, then good for you. That is why having a choice of devices to choose from is a good thing.

If these are fixed I will use it again but not now!

First of all, those things are not broken. What you seek may simply not be available in the manner you'd like with the iPhone. Anyway, thank you for posting and I hope you have a safe & pleasant evening. Take care...:)

Works for me too and I have a 5 also. It also worked on my 4 and 4s. Maybe it's time for a restore it at the very least a hard reset.

Contacts works fine on iPhone 5 in landscape...scaling looks the same in landscape as it does in portrait. Also looks the same as my 4S work phone's contact screen in both modes.

Try updating it to ios 6.0.2 and see what happens and portrait is not the same as landscape the wide view guess its time to go into the apple shop cos it may be a dud phone as everyone else seems to get their iphone 5 into landscape view with contact entries no further use complaining here.

yeah well it does not work in landscape wide view in ios 6.0.2 after updating, it only gives portrait mode

I am on 6.0.2 with an iphone 5 and contacts work in landscape mode. I tried looking in landscape and editing in landscape and deleting in landscape. They all work.

One thing I would add is that, at least on my phone, Contacts will not go into landscape mode if you access Contacts through the "Phone" app. You must go in through the actual "Contacts" app in order to access landscape mode. Just thought I would share that.
