Lightning Adapter in my car

I dont know about anyone else, but I was waiting on pins and needles to see if the adapter would work with my car (2012 Audi). I am happy to report that I received my adapter and everything works great. I have full Ipod controls and track info thru the cable. The adapter is also working with my phillips clock radio, and an iHome.

HAHA, I ordered two. the small one (havent received), and the 9" cable version. I actually like it better. I leave it in the car and find plugging the iPhone in is much easier.

I was holding out on getting one. Been using my lightning cable(I bought a second one) and usb adapter from in my car (2008 Fusion, wish it was an Audi) and I haven't had any issues. Might be more convinced now to pick one up. Thanks!

I got mine yesterday and it works with my Sony clock radio. I haven't tried it in my car yet...

Same goes for my wife's Lexus, no problems with any of the features she used to have with the 4S...she's using the cable though instead of the adaptor.

I initially ordered 2 adaptors but they sent me two cables so i have no clue if the adaptors work the same, but have heard they do not.

I just stuck a USB adapter in and plugged a Lightning cable into that.

My adapter finally arrived though so I'm going to try it out next.

Power is my main concern, then audio.

The cable with the lightning connector would not charge the iPhone 5 in my car (USB to phone, 2012 Mercedes-Benz). When I received the adapter I plugged the older 30 pin acble into USB and then the adapter and it now charges without a problem, and all steering wheel controls work.
