After years of insurance not being offered on my Iphone i've gotten ust to claming it on my homeowners insurance. My wifes iphone in 2007 was stolen and my homeowners covered it then and we learned about coverage we had for electronics and have always just used that.

We're covering our iPhones under our homeowners insurance as well. $50 extra a year, but no deductible for them. Yah, that's a score.

I went with AppleCare+. Defiantly worth the $99.

AppleCare plus. Vzw is 10$ a month. AppleCare is like paying for 10 months of vzw crap for 2 years and way better.

$7.99/mo AT&T insurance. Not sure why it's not $9.99/mo for the i5 I'll just keep my mouth shut.

AppleCare+ is only a $49 deductible. And you can use it twice.

It's still a rip off, considering you get a used phone back...

I always insure my phones. I'm pretty careful, but when I broke my phone, Asurion had my replacement at my door the next day after I called them at 9PM the night before. Plus, I'm paranoid about it getting stolen. Heard way too many stories about people having their iPhone's stolen, and AC+ does not cover that.

No, it isn't. I've received multiple apple replacement phones in the past and haven't had a single issue with any of them.

I may be a little neurotic, but I bought AppleCare+ (for accidental damages), plus Asurion protection in case of loss or theft.

An Apple certified referb is Just as good as getting a new one. I've gotten replacement phones and they are pristine. No scratches,dents,....Apple stands behind the Replacement phone the same as new ones out of box.

AC+ for my 64g black. Assurion has done me well in the past, but AppleCare ends up being cheaper, and I believe AppleCare is probably the best bet. I don't think I'm gonna need a new phone for at least 20 months!

Nah, I didn't get insurance for mine.

I'm not too weary about breaking it, seeing as I don't drop it very often at all. But just in case, I have a Zagg HD and Speck Candyshell on it. Great combo

Got a case but place down street replace screen for 70 bucks or do it my self for less so 99 for apple care an a 50 deductible is double what I would pay even if I used it twice in one year ... I am debating going with a zagg or some fully body just to go case less

Ya used them before on 4 and 4s can't tell diff between there's and stock .. Since apple don't sell oem replacements no one is going to be oem but the quality looks the same and they warranty the part and work so any issues they take care of it ... Place is cool has over 150 five star on yelp
An best of all they are fast like 30 min but I would be also I guess if you do it multiple times a day lol

A one time charge of $100 is better than a monthly charge that is more than $120.

From what I have heard the AppleCare+ was way better.

Asurion was too much of a headache the couple times I used it.

I have Apple Care +. Got offered a $15/month plan through Best Buy so if something happens I can get a new one, or even get the next iPhone when it comes out, but I decided I'll stick with this phone for two years.

What all does AppleCare+ offer? Can somebody tell me, I wasn't 100% sure. Water damage? Scratches? Pixel damage? And if something happened to my phone, do they just give me a new one? Refurbished one? Send it off for repair and I wait for it to come back?

AppleCare+ essentially pays for any accidental damage including water damage. They will usually replace it with a refurb unit unless they don't have any available. Depending on the damage they may fix it like just replacing a cracked screen. I believe there is a $50 deductible for some kinds of damage. AppleCare also gives you 2 years of phone tech support.

There is a $50 deductible for any physical damage to the device like crack screen or I believe liquid damage. AppleCare also covers accessories that came with the phone too. Any hardware malfunction is covered as well

iPhone 5 with AT&T. yes I have the 10$/month insurance. Why? Because it pretty much covers everything including lost or stolen. which I plan on pretending I lost my phone so I can get another one just for 450 plus the tax and all that other stuff.. what can I do with two iPhone? Simple. sell one for 600. Or just help a friend out. and I'll have another replacement for myself if I ever really do lose my iPhone.. Nuff said.
