What's the best time to place your order on the app for in store pick up because I did it at 10 and nothing I'm frustrated no store has it I don't know where to look r what to do... Advice please

Most of the Apple stores across the country are now keeping decent stock according to the reports I've been reading online...just go to your local Apple store early in the day, i think that would be your best option.

Most stores are "trying" to hold stock but if you are looking for a 16GB you might have to look at couple stores. I have found that stores don't have a lot of those lying around.

I think so most of the stores go with the Pre-order criteria and according to it they do stock with few plus/minus. If you find out of stock label then don’t be surprised because the demand is huge and it may be possible to happen. I to some extent agree with SeanHRCC. Yes, you go early in the day maybe you get but if others have the same thinking, it will be quite hard for you.
