Ya its cool ,Do the following,Keep your apps up to date to ensure that you get the most from the battery. Older apps in particular will need updating to ensure that they work with iOS 6.1.
Use the auto lock on the device. This turns off the display which can help to save the battery.

Anyone have tests that are solely on 3G/Faux G/LTE?

I'm kind of interested in how this goes with just cellular networks. My iPhone 4 CDMA gets to 5/6 hours of usage on cellular before running out of juice.

I phone 5 battery is life not a strong without use battery is going down. Me and my many friend have a same problem

Better than android, i need to charger mine twice a day because i got 4 push email, sometime Using LINE, KIK, And facebook update and also listen to my music while having exercise at gym and make a telephone call too, sometime i used Wifi, and my network always on 3G

I find my battery to be worse with this upgrade.

Since moving t the 5 my batt only seems to last to mid morning. But I do read a lot. So I am almost on it constantly. My old 4 would go most of the day with the same use. I am hoping this new update fixes it however,

I can get 8.5-9 hours out of 50% of my battery with about 1.5 hours of screen on time over spotty 3G/LTE.
