Usage would be the screen-on time. Standby is total time off charger.

Oh, I bought iPhone 5 yesterday, and I have 8hours usage and 17h standby after first full charge..and still 40% battery left..can't believe it's that good

In a way. If you're playing music with the screen off the usage time is still being counted. For android I don't think that's the case

Just bought a battery case no damns given now

I have no nee for a battery case as I am always near a cable.. Yes good for always being mobile though

Very normal. When I'm at home on weekends when I'm exclusively on wi-fi, I can get 8-10 hrs of usage easy. And this with email, bT on and iCloud

My ipone battery life is good.It works all day around after completing battery cycle.

On wifi my battery life is great. On 3G/LTE it's not so good. I'm lucky to get six hours of use with the latter.
