Android to iPhone transition question - SIM card

just want to cover myself here... i pre-ordered the iPhone 5 (paid full retail) and plan on transitioning from a Verizon Galaxy Nexus. I will likely be selling the Nexus on eBay to offset the cost; when selling the Nexus, do I need to keep the SIM card that is currently in that phone?

SIM cards are kind of a foreign experience on Verizon since they are only included with 4G phones.

Thanks in advance for the input.

P.S. (can't wait to get my hands on my new iPhone!!!)

The iPhone will come with a nano-sim. As far as the Nexus goes, the buyer should have a sim of their own, so keep yours... it will be invalidated when you activate the iPhone anyway.

I second the above. And to add, always keep your SIM. The new owner should always get their own. Additionally, as stated above the iPhone will have a nano SIM so the one you have now will not fit anyhow.
