For the people that pre-ordered late and with 14-21 days ship estimate, lets post in this page for any status update. What is your oder page showing? Have you receive a confirmed date?

I agree but most of those people preordered on time and will get theirs on 21st. This is meant to keep up with the people on the same boat.

Had my order in within 20 minutes of the apple store coming back up on the east coast. Showing a delivery date of Oct. 5th for a 64 GB black. I don't think "most" people got their orders in on time, since the window of opportunity had to be super small.

Less than a half hour from my experience. I live on the East coast and had my order in within 20 minutes of the apple store coming back up yesterday morning at about 3:40am my time and still got pushed back to delivery on the 5th. I could hardly believe it.

Oh wow! Can you imagine how crazy the lines will be! I would rather wait for my shipment of 2-3 weeks than camp out. Sure it sucks but so is being line for hours!
