    go through the apple store app, or through your carrier. apple will probably be down for another 2 hours if this is like any normal release.

    best option is to open an incognito tab so all that cache from the regular browser is trashed! press refresh couple times and youre good to go, i promise.

    SOMEONE HELP ME HERE! I am trying to upgrade at full retail from Verizon....but it will not let me keep my unlimited data. What am I doing wrong? I have tried over and over and it does not want to work for me! SOMEONE HELP!
    Is your current rate plan Unlimited 3G data or did you have Unlimited 4G Data. If you have Unlimited 4G Data, it should definitely let you pay full retail to keep it. It showed a notice or something, and I had to accept it or something. If you are coming from an Unlimited 3G Data plan, then you can't grandfather Unlimited 4G, they stopped that a while ago.

    I think I read an article that said Verizon isn't letting anyone upgrade and keep the unlimited plans... I'm using ATT, so I can't verify it though...

    1 order successful using App - second one would not verify with AT&T so it automatically reserved me one. Now I just have to wait for an email. Last time I try to pre-order ever. Annoying when the server sides don't properly prepare. It's tough to do but at least AT&T really should have been better prepped for the inevitable onslaught.

    I am curious as to when the deliver date will change. Like who's the lucky person that is the last one to get 21st. That would really be disappointing!

    In Florida, got thru to Verizon's site right at 3am-I had to fill out different information for my address ( a physical vs. a PO Box). Once I added that info I was able to order my 16GB White with no issues. I received a confirmation email within 2 minutes. All of this was still with 9/21 as the shipping date.

    I finally gave up on the AT&T website, which was giving a variety of different error pages, and ordered through Apple.com. I almost immediately received an email saying that my order was being processed.

    yea, looks like a lot of the issues are with ATT's account servers right now. because that's where apple's site runs into problems for upgrades and add lines it seems.

    Apples website runs so much more efficient then Att. Even though I had to wait a little longer to get on, once it let me it was a very quick and pain free process.
