I have an iPad/iPhone dock on my desk plus several other chargers floating around the house ... and I only have an iPad. For those of you who have multiple iOS devices, I imagine you have many times more 30-pin adapter devices/plugs laying around than I have. Do you think Apple will do the right thing and bundle some kind of 30-pin to 9-pin (or whatever the smaller plug ends up being) adapter with the new iPhone? It sure would ease the pain of having to buy new docks/car chargers/etc.

It's entirely possible. Thew will either bundle one with the phones or sell them for probably $9.99 in stores.

What worries me is the possibility of the plug being so different that an adapter is not possible.

I highly doubt it. I would say they will sell it as a $9.99 adapter separately.

Have you ever seen an apple product at 9.99??
    I'm gonna go with $29.99

Agreed. Apple will not do anything at 9.99 smh. I say 19.99-29.99 price point, well, because they are Apple.

Only one... and strangely enough, it's a plug adapter:

I see them including an adapter just because of the sheer amount of issues that would come if they didn't. One per new device and then additional ones for sale in the stores.
