Why can't I make or receive texts on my iPhone?

with my 4s i cant receive text messages or send. even i cant buy any data like net cellular with my i phone. as i doubt sim card problem i tried my sim card in other phones but it works why not in my iPhone?

Hi

Goto settings> General> Scroll down to RESET> then select Reset Network Settings.

See if that helps

PS: Your phone will reboot, and probably prompt you of that.
