How do I remove syncing to my gmail account?

Hi everyone!

I'm new to imore and love the community here. I have a question about syncing to my gmail account with iphone 4s. How do I make it so that when I enter in information to my calender and contacts that it doesn't show up on my gmail account? I just want it to be on my phone separately from gmail.

Go to Settings - Mail, Contacts, Calendars and then scroll down to the "Calendars" section. Change the default calendar from Google to something else. Although you'll still be able to see the data associated with Google, any new events will not sync to it or at least they shouldn't. ...

i got gmail account on my 5 and the contact sync is on but when i sign in on my pc to gmail i cant see the contact that should be sync from my iphone !!!!
any idea ?
