I have a video I made on my iMac that have transferred to my iPhone. It's a 6 minute video. Is it possible to send that through iMessage from my iPhone to a friends iPhone?

I may be wrong about the file size, but as i understood it MMS limits to 1MB transfer on videos, and will compress a video down to this in order to properly send it over a cellular network. If it cannot compress the file within these constraints, it will prevent the video from being sent.

    iMessage may have similar limitations.

A better option is upload the video to Dropbox or something similar, and send your friend the link.

My friend is not a tech geek and I was just trying to make it simple for him. I'm thinking I'd better make him a DVD.

    tnx

I'm sure your friend knows how to click a link... it's rather easy.
