Find My iPhone location question

I was looking through my iPhone and was checking the status of my devices and making sure they were showing up with Find My iPhone, I checked all of my devices and they were all in the same remote area except my iPhone. It was a street or two away and the radius was pretty large. Is this normal for the iPhone?

I have had similar experiences checking on my location too. I hope we can get some answers.

Most of the time, my location is spot on, but on occasion, the radius is large, but usually when the weather is not so great. It's not just an iPhone thing because the same thing occurred on my Android devices using the maps feature or Lookout. Read about aGPS and GPS at the link below:
