Deleting Contact On Iphone = Delete Contact In Email?

I am curious guys. I sync my email contacts to my iphone. Therefore, if I delete the contact on my iphone, does it delete the contact from my email as well?

Just don't want to do extra work when comes to deleting.

What is your email domain?

I use GMail as an exchange because I like to have my contacts on my phone mirror what is on the web and I can sync them across multiple devices. iCloud also offers this.

Just tried it with iPad. It removed contact from device but not from google account. On Galaxy Nexus it deleted it from phone and google account.

I know that cos I used s2 as well. In android, you can select auto sync which you don't have it on IPhone yet.

Guess the only way is manual for now. Huhu
