Curious, has anyone been able to get the LED for notifications (Settings \ General \ Accessibility \ LED Flash for Alerts) to work on the iPhone (4S)?

Haven't really tried myself as I have my 4s in an Otter Box Defender case.

What LED? You mean the camera flash?

Apparently your flash MUST be set to ON or Auto.

A shame it doesn't work for email, too...

I have to tell you...I didn't even know this feature existed! Just turned it on and tried it out. This could be a fantastic feature when I'm trying to find my phone in my purse! Although, I'm wondering what affect this could have on my battery life. Anyone know much about that?

It also only works in dark light settings-it uses the light/proximity sensor on the face of the phone. Won't work outside or indoors in artificial light-unless the phone is face down on a surface.
