Switching upgrade iPhone to another Line

Hi,

So I have a Sprint Family plan with my parents and sister. My mom had an upgrade and let my sister use it to get the iPhone 4S. I have read that Sprint wants a newly upgraded phone to stay on the eligible phone line for up to 30 days before you can move the new upgraded phone (iPhone 4s) to another line. Right now the iPhone is activated and still on my moms line. Does anyone know the specifics as to when I can switch the iPhone to my sister's line without incurring any additional fees?

you can move it anytime. I work for Sprint at a coporate store. We do them same day within 2 min everytime. Your good to do it whenever. A lot of times youll get third party stores that will tell you that you have to wait. your good

So if I ordered the iphone from the sprint website and had it activated a couple days ago, then it should be good to transfer to another line on the family plan? And there won't be any charges because it is moved to a line of service that is not eligible for upgrade?

yea your good to do it now. just make sure the applecare if you got it gets switched over as well.

whats applecare? It was ordered through the sprint website. Would they have offered it when it was purchased?

possibly not. might have offered when you activated. applecare
