ITunes from PC to Iphone 4S

My daughter wants to transfer here itunes from her pc ot her iphone but can't get icloud working because she doesn't have the right os etc. etc.. Are there other ways of transfering these files?

Connect her iPhone to iTunes with the USB cable and click sync sorted!
If she hasn't got the right os for iCloud and her device supports it click check for update in iTunes window then click update.

Make sure she has the latest version of iTunes installed on her computer. If she has the iPhone 4S she would already have the correct iOS version needed for iCloud since the 4S shipped with iOS 5 out of the box.

Use USB to connect the iPhone to iTunes. Then sync the playlist.

Well, that worked--sort of. It only synchs the music purhased from Itunes as opposed to music form Cds etc. Is there a way to bring that musics accross as well?
