Screen Freezes

When I select the Ap Store icon it loads with an ap but then the screen freezes. Nothing on that screen responds. You have to click the home button to get out.

Any ideas why it would do that?

Is you phone jailbroken? Have you tried a restore? Soft reset?

No, not jailbroken and I haven't tried either the restore or reset.

Then it's more than likely a software issue. A full restore to new iPhone should clear the issue.

like someone said, a soft reset might help.
otherwise do a restore.
