Photo edges cutoff

I'm not sure if it's always been like this, but I noticed the far sides of my photos are slight cutoff when I view them after taking the picture.

Take a photo of something but notice exactly where the photo viewing area ends on the sides, now go into your photo album and view the picture and see if the sides are cutoff at all.

I've recently noticed the same thing. I thought I was somehow zooming in last minute without realizing it. Now I just pull back a little bit more when taking pics. Oh well!

I've noticed this when looking back at previously taken pictures, but then I try zooming out and it's all there. For some reason, pictures are slightly zoomed in when you view them at first. It seems like it zooms in to fit the picture vertically to the screen, so a little strip on the left and right are off the screen and just need to be zoomed out to see those two areas.
