We have routers in the school where I work that have hidden SSID, so someone from the IT department has to set up my iPhone to access the routers around the building. Over Christmas break, my iPhone 4S "forgot" one of the routers. I know it was connecting fine before the break, and other people had no problems connecting after break (so the router settings didn't change), but I had to have IT come back and re-connect me to that router. My phone had forgotten that setting.

So, my question, does the iPhone have a maximum number of WiFi hotspots before it starts forgetting them? If so, is there a way to protect the ones at home and work so they aren't forgotten?

I've come across this issue once in a blue moon, but let's chalk it up to one of those things.
