What job do you have that you use your Iphone 4S?

I guess I am a bit of a freelance writer in my personal time and I usually tend to use my phone for that kind of stuff. Getting emails and responding.

Pool & Spa technician, self employed and lovin it! I use my phone non stop to email suppliers, call customers and or tech lines from spa manufacturers, I have my tech manuals loaded on it as well but lately installed a playbook to use as a gps in the truck and have been using it and the 7" screen to view my stuff much easier on! I was taking the ipad with but it worries me too much about it being stolen or damaged so I tend to leave it at home safe, will be buying a 7" ipad if they make it and tossing the playbook to the kids to play games on its nice but its no ipad!!

I'm an insurance reinspector, I use the phone to check the pitch of roofs (using the Pitch Gauge app) and for ordering roof measurements in the field (using the Eagleview app). Not to mention emails, phone calls, and just general stuff while driving.

I don't have a job, I'm a Journalism student and my IPhone does help me connect, do emails and get references. The occasional games and leisure web browsing are what gets me through long periods of boredom, as are my eBooks and digital comics. The IPhone helps me schedule my life, gets me connected to important things like booking test dates for my physical tests, helps me get connected to Facebook and Twitter for the prerequisite venting of my thoughts and views, and also get me connected to my friends from overseas.

Oh boy, I guess the IPhone is the only phone that feels the most complete in the market right now...everything I can imagine myself doing on a phone I can probably do it one way or another. It helps my life, period.

God I wish smart phones were around when I was in college. I had several boring professors including a world history class that met once a week for three and a half hours. That man got up in front of the class and read aloud for the entire time. We were given one 20 minute break but FFS it was a long, boring class.

iPhone 4S!!!! Not for me

I use my iPhone 3GS for work, games and socialising. I work in medical engineering part time, and A&E resus the rest of the time. I also volunteer for St John Ambulance. At the moment (during the Olympics and Paralympics, I'm a games maker)

Occupational Therapy student here. Very useful for slideshows, powerpoints and medical notes. The iPad is far too big and I need something handy, this does the job so far. Except that too much of it does eat the battery out and i tend to have classes that end late.

I do remote technical support and tech scheduling for my medical company. I use maps to look st geography and to see who is closer or the distance to plan our someone's day.

Also when working on laptop motherboards I take pictures of the screws and wires to use as reference during my reassembly.

I get phone calls from my superior, and every now and then I get emails with big attachments that Blackberry can't handle, mainly PDF files with big pictures. That was the main reason the company switched to iPhone. Well, that and the president hated his Blackberry so much that every couple of weeks he'd smash one against the wall.

Verizon 4S. I'm a Police Detective in North Carolina and use it for e-mail, communication with other officers and also use the browser for some mobile sites we use for looking up criminal information on perps.
