Losing 3G Data Connection On Verizon?

Has anyone else randomly lost their 3G data connection on Verizon? I did a reboot, which fixed the problem, but it still is a pain.

I've noticed it when I am around an unsecured wireless connection that isn't working very well, 3G will basically shutdown and it will only try and connect over the crappy wi-fi.

It happens once in a while... and if you're in one of the markets where VZW flipped the switch on LTE today, there's a chance that there are some kinks to work out.

Next time, try putting your phone in airplane mode for about 30 seconds - then back to normal... that's kind of doing a re-boot - just faster. It turns off the cellular radio, and when it comes back on, the phone re-authenticates on the network... that will typically fix most issues.
