Can someone tell me what iADS is. I turned it off in my location settings cause it seems to be running constantly.

Why does it use my gps location. Is it fine to leave iADS off? Must use battery right? This could be another reason why some are having battery problems along side with the setting time zone issue.

it uses your location to advertise products and services as well as businesses around you. im sure it does use battery, although mine was on until earlier today and i had no noticeable battery drain from it

The iAds function is not what is running your battery down...it is your location services, which can work in conjunction with iAds, but iAds alone would not cause a noticeable battery life difference.
