managing Contacts

To start with, I am new to the iPhone. On this 4s, I have Groups as a header to my contacts folder which contains "All Contacts", "All on my iPhone ", and "All iCloud". I really only want one folder that has all my contacts, or I want all the folders to have the same contacts. Right now they all have a different number of contacts in them. How do I go about this task. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Put them all in the iCloud. Go to iCloud.com, sign in and add them all on there. It will update to your phone.
