No pinch to zoom on FB or Twitter?

I thought when I first got my 4S I could do pinch to zoom on FB and the native Twitter apps, but now it won't....it works in Safari but not the other two..........is it possible to pinch to zoom in FB or Twitter or not?

the app developer has to put it in there some twitter clients have it when you visit a website but the facebook app does not and regular timeline in twitter apps usually does not
