contact restore with verizon help

I restored from google and have 1130 contacts. I first backed up my contacts on verizon backed up on my droid and have 960 contacts. I am wondering if I try to restore from verizon backup will I get all my duplicates ? I would like to delete my current contacts then restore from verizons backup any idea.

If you are uploading contact from 2 different means, then yes, you will get duplicates.
