My iPhone is at USPS , 20 minute away from my house

ordered mine from apple.com at 7am on the 7th. still says Preparing for Shipment, Delivers Oct 14 via Standard Shipping. i ordered a 32gb.

Same for me. Checked with apple customer support this morning and the rep said that there is no problem with the order and that it will be received on Oct. 14 even though process not complete.

I really believe my iPhone be here tomorrow being as though they won't ship today since it's a holiday,

I have tracking info in all, I even have the USPS app on my iPhone 4.

It's in baltimore md zip code 21233

I have at zip code 21201

none of the carriers nor Apple ship through USPS, way to try and get attention on the forums.

Not that i disagree with your point here...but it is possible (as discussed in another thread) for FedEx or UPS to do a hand off to USPS under certain circumstances.

I thought this was discussed in another thread by the same poster (I could be wrong)...I HIGHLY DOUBT you will receive your iPhone PRIOR to the iOS5 that is to be released on Wednesday the 12th...most likely your order will be held at USPS, UPS, FED EX, etc whether its 2 days away or 5 minutes away...my iPhone4 sat 30 minutes away from my home for 3 days..

Not that i disagree with your point here...but it is possible (as discussed in another thread) for FedEx or UPS to do a hand off to USPS under certain circumstances.

In those cases , the tracking ALWAYS start at UPS/FedEx and then they inform you that it was transfered to USPS for rural delivery.
Apple doesnt use USPS .

The same thing happened to lots of people last year. At the last minute the packages all got held for delivery on the release date.
